Privacy Policy

HR Factory (Émilie Poirier, consultant) is committed to protecting the personal information of its users in accordance with Quebec's Law 25 (Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information). This policy explains what information we collect, why, how we use it, and your rights.

3. Personal data collected

As part of our activities, we may collect the following types of personal information:

First and last name
Professional email address
Company name and number of employees
HR challenge description (free text from contact form)

4. Purpose of collection

We collect your personal information for the following purposes:

Responding to your discovery consultation request
Providing HR consulting services tailored to your situation
Communicating with you about our services (with your consent)

5. Consent

In accordance with section 8.1 of Law 25, we obtain your manifest, free and informed consent before collecting your personal information. Non-essential cookies are only activated after your explicit consent. You can change your preferences at any time via the 'Cookie settings' link at the bottom of each page.

6. Retention period

Your personal information is retained for 24 months after your last contact with us. After this period, it is securely destroyed in accordance with section 23 of Law 25.

7. Your rights

Under Law 25, you have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct your information if it is inaccurate or incomplete
Request deletion of your information when the purpose is fulfilled
Withdraw your consent at any time
File a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (CAI)

8. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services: Vercel (hosting, United States), Anthropic (AI virtual assistant, United States). Each third-party service has its own privacy policy.

9. Transfer outside Quebec

Some of your data may be processed in the United States by our hosting (Vercel) and AI (Anthropic) providers. These transfers are made in compliance with Law 25 and these providers offer an adequate level of protection.

10. Cookies

Our site uses three categories of cookies: Essential (always active, required for site operation), Analytics (activated with your consent) and Marketing (activated with your consent). By default, only essential cookies are active.

11. Privacy incident

In the event of a privacy incident presenting a risk of serious harm, we will notify the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (CAI) and the affected individuals. Notification email: e.poirier@usinerh.ca
